Love this place. The Staff is awesome and the food is great especially since change of ownership. House burger is my favorite, followed by chicken fried steak. Great neighborhood bar and restaurant.

Probably one of my favorite places to meet the guys on Tuesday night. I took one star away because it is lousy with golfers. Probably one of the better Cobb Salads in COS. I tried the Slopper which is an open faced hamburger smothered in green chili. Very tasty. In fact it was so tasty that I tried the Breakfast Slopper a couple of days later. It was also very tasty. Bloody Marys are good and they actually make them for you, none of this BS of giving you a shot of vodka and expecting you to make your own. This business of having you prepare your own food and drink has gone too far. I went to Poor Richard's the other day and had to bus my own table, for Pete's sake. No one but my wife has asked me to wash my own dishes yet, but I'm sure that is coming.

The breakfast meals are excellent, and the outdoor patio is divine. Though we usually come for lunch after church on Sunday, we tried breakfast yesterday (Saturday). My wife had a skillet dish smothered in green chili which she enjoyed, and I had a huge western omelet that was excellent. (It came with a choice of pumpernickel toast, too! How many places offer pumpernickel?!) On the down side, the service was very slow, but the waitress was very diligent about warming up our coffee. However, you don't come here for a fast meal. You come for the outdoor setting and the beautiful view of the 18th fairway lined in huge gorgeous trees with Pikes Peak sitting majestically in the background. The slow service just allows you to soak in the view and chat with friends. Breakfast is served from 6:30am until 11:30am. If you want an outdoor restaurant for breakfast or lunch, this is the best place in town. And the food is quite good!

This is a wonderful restaurant with a wide variety of food options. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was delicious! It was perfectly crispy. It came complete with with creamy mashed potatoes and corn. Great comfort food. From the patio, you can view beautify maintained grounds with a picturesque view of the mountains.

My kid's middle school golf team spends countless hours at this course, which usually causes me to end up waiting for them to be done... which means I get to grab a snack and sometimes a beer! Win-Win! I love this place- sweet staff that make me feel at home, tasty nibbles and it's a cool historic building. I think I'm a regular here now, and I'm pretty happy about that.

Great place to relax and enjoy some refreshments and food. Had a dinner for a party and the catering that the facility had was amazingm Prime Rib, Salmon and many other items were all delicious.

I went here for a co-workers birthday lunch, and it was fine-- not very good, mind you, but fine. I would recommend going here in the Spring/Summer months when you can enjoy the view from the patio. Regardless of the quality of the food, it was lovely to sit outside with good friends and enjoy a salad and a lovely summer day.
